Steve DeWayne Wood, age 47, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  He was born February 23, 1962 in Martinez, California, the son of Buddy Wood and June Smith Wood. 

His Mother, June Smith Wood and an uncle, Johnny Mac Smith preceded him in death.  He is survived by 3 sisters, Rhonda Salcido, Pam Fox and Carla Smith, all of California and by a brother, James Bohannon of California.

A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date. 

Cremation arrangements are by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
