Kathryn L. Martin, age 81, of Eudora, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at her home.  She was born February 11, 1928, in Eudora, the daughter of the late William Boyd and Mary Virginia Cook Boyd.  She was the widow of Doyle Martin and a homemaker and member of North Side Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Martin, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.  Survivors are a daughter, Carolyn Jones of Eudora; a sister, Charlene Stepp of Golden, Arizona; one grandson, Edward Jones, 2 great-grandsons, Scott Jones and Brandon Langford and 2 great-granddaughters, Anna Jones and Gracie Crain.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Bishop Funeral Home in Eudora.  Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 6, 2009, at North Side Baptist Church with Rev. Bud O’Neal and Rev. James Kitchens officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Eudora.
