Rose F. Mazzanti, age 89, of Lake Village, died Sunday, March 29, 2009, at Chicot Memorial Hospital. She was born March 20, 1920, in Glen Allan, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Marino Favi and Pauline Mangialardi Favi and was a homemaker and communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Mazzanti, and by a brother and 2 sisters. Survivors are 3 daughters, Libby Harris of Counce, Tennessee, Mary Tootie Mencer and husband, Olan, of Lake Village and Agnes Marie Routon and husband, George, of Newberry, South Carolina; 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 P.M. Monday, March 30, 2009, with Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Theophilos Okpara as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
Pallbearers are Brad McLaurin, Donald McLaurin, Renhard McLaurin, Michael Mencer, David Mencer, Chris Hatch, Kevin Bramer, and Chris Routon.

Memorial may be made to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church or St. Mary’s School in Lake Village.
