Delmar “Dell” Davis, age 79, of Lake Village, died Friday, January 16, 2009, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, MS.  He was born May 26, 1929, in Lola, KY, the son of the late Hal Davis and Tina Harold Davis and was a retired truck driver and a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Davis of Lake Village; 2 sons, David Davis of Atlanta, GA and David Menotti of Lake Village; 3 daughters, Vickie Davis of Pine Bluff, Donna Gardner of Monticello and Barbara Farmer of Lake Village; 2 sisters, Hallie and Fern and 8 grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4 to 6 P.M. Sunday at Bishop Funeral Home with Rosary at 6:00 P.M.

Mass of Christian Burial is at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 19, 2009 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
