A. Herman Reginelli, age 81, of Lake Village, died Friday, December 26, 2008, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. He was born July 22, 1927, in Lake Village, the son of the late Vincent Reginelli and Ercelia Mazzanti Reginelli. He served in the U. S. Navy in WW II and in the U. S. Army in the Korean War. He was a lieutenant with the Arkansas Highway Police having served for over 32 years until his retirement in 1987 and was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cheryl Kniss who died at age 9 in 1990.
Survivors are his wife, Virginia Aureli Reginelli of Lake Village; 3 daughters, Susan R. Kniss, and her husband, Pete, of Lake Village, Janet R. Gillum, of Lake Village and Cindy R. Rector and her husband, Kent, of Little Rock and 3 grandchildren, Amy Kniss, Colton and Jenna Gillum.
Visitation is from 5 to 6 P.M. Sunday with Rosary at 6:00 P.M. at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 29, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
