Rita Fava, age 77, of Lake Village, formerly of Greenville, Mississippi, died Friday, November 28, 2008, at Select Service Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.  She was born July 13, 1931 in Greenville, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Alderico Fava and Catherine Clara Fava and was a civil service secretary and a communicant of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. 

She is survived by 2 brothers, Al Fava of Greenville and Tom Fava of Lake Village; a sister, Jo Ann Muffellatto of Lake Village; 2 nieces, Kellie Rikard and Tracie Davis; 4 nephews, Al Fava Jr., Drew Fava, Will Fava and Lea Michael Fava and 2 great-nephews.

Visitation is from 9:00 A.M. Monday to service time at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 A.M. Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Greenville, Mississippi with Father Richard Somers as celebrant.  Burial will follow in Greenville City Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
