Marvin L. Green, age 61, of Montrose, died Friday, November 07, 2008, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi.  He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Pentecostal church.  He was born May 3, 1947, in Gould, Arkansas, the son of the late H. L. Green and Doris Earnest Green.  Also preceding him in death was a granddaughter, Brooke Alexandria Green and a brother, Bobby Green.

Survivors are his wife, Margie Green of Montrose; a son, Marvin Wayne Green of Greenville, Mississippi; a daughter, Karen Deann Jones of Greenville, Mississippi; one brother, Charles Wayne Green of Greenbrier; a sister, Doris Faulkner of Washington and four grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Green, Casey Lee Mitchell, Jonathan Taylor Green and Kaitlyn Leann Trotter.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 P.M. Saturday at Bishop Funeral Home.  Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 09, 2008, at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Harrison officiating.  Burial will follow in Holy Innocents Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
