Dr. Stephanie Spencer Long, age 46, of Slidell, Louisiana, died Friday, August 22, 2008. She was a nursing professor, teacher, and nursing supervisor and a communicant of
St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Survivors are her husband, Michael Long of Slidell, Louisiana; 2 sons, Stephen Richardson and Spencer Richardson and a step-son, Nathan Long; a daughter, Olivia Pippin; and a sister, Melissa Garrett.
Visitation and Rosary were Monday evening in Slidell, Louisiana. Mass of Christian Burial was 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Slidell. Burial was 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lake Village with Father Theophilus Okpara officiating. Local arrangements were by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
