Robert Henry Maglothin, age 77, of Dermott, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, at the McGehee Desha County Hospital.  He was born June 12, 1931, in Boydell, the son of the late William H. Maglothin and Orlee Sledge Maglothin and was a farmer and member of First Assembly of God Church in Dermott.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Gorman Maglothin of Dermott; son, Robert Maglothin Jr. of Lake Village, step-sons, Jessie Eugene White of Conway and Waymond White of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and 2 step-daughters, Marie Ann Lindberg of Lake Village and Marilyn Ray Myers of Conway.

Visitation is from 5 to 6 P.M. Sunday at Bishop Funeral Home.  Funeral services are

10:00 A.M. Monday, August 4, 2008, at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Village with Rev. Bud Banks officiating.  Burial is in Union Cemetery at Montrose.
