Jessie James Thompson, age 75, of Eudora, died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village.  He was born July 22, 1933, in Andalusia, Alabama, the son of the late Aaron Jessie Thompson and Estella Townsend Thompson and was a farmer and a Baptist.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Frances Richison.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Anna Groves Thompson of Eudora; a step daughter, Valerie Ann Burns of Beebe; a brother, George Thompson of West Memphis;

a sister, Betty Lou Rossini of Lake Village and 2 step grandchildren.

Graveside services were 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 28, 2008, at Jennie Cemetery with Bro. Larry Donaldson officiating.  Arrangements were by Bishop Funeral Home of

Lake Village.
