Katherine Inez Allgood Weeks, age 80, of Lake Village, died Friday, June 6, 2008 at Lake Village Health Care Center.  She was born January 13, 1928, in Drew, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Willie Lee Allgood and Nannie Pearl Warren Allgood and was a homemaker and member of Jennie Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bill Weeks, and by a son Lamar Weeks.  She is survived by a son, Edward Weeks and wife, Eunice, of Lake Village; seven grandchildren, Susan Hallman, Wendell Weeks, Wendy Gudz, Regina Weeks, Edward Weeks II, Beth Weeks Donaldson and Sundee Weeks, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, June 8, 2008, at Bishop Funeral Home.  Funeral services are 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 9, 2008, at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Dykes officiating.  Burial will follow in Jennie Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
