Joy T. Kelly, 58, of Lake Village, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Lake Village Health Care Center.  She was born January 17, 1950, in Georgetown, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Jim Thomisee and Velda Barnett Thomisee and was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Kelly and by 2 brothers, Bill and James Thomisee.  Survivors are 3 daughters, Tish Gorman of Eudora, Tonya Brunk of Neodosha, Kansas, and Joyce Prestridge of Pineville, Louisiana; one brother, Charles Thomisee of Monroe, Louisiana; 4 sisters, Bobbie Lindsey of Bossier City, Louisiana, Pinky Jenkins and Azalee Giddens, both of Monroe, Louisiana, and Patricia Mayo of Oakdale, Louisiana; 3 half sisters, Clorice Breland of Monroe, Louisiana, Ina Crow of Bastrop, Louisiana, and Billie Dessell of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Bishop Funeral Home.  Graveside services are 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 6, 2008, at Portland Cemetery in Portland, Arkansas, under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
