Orville Lee Cruce, age 65, of Lake Village, died Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.  He was born April 26, 1942, in Illinois and was a retired river boat mate and a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Marie Cruce of Lake Village; a son, Troy Cruce of Kentucky, a step-son, David Stough of Raymond, Mississippi; 2 daughters, Kimberly Sargeant of Tamms, Illinois, Christina Cruce of Bardwell, Kentucky; 2 step-daughters, Amy Miley of Raymond, Mississipi and Becky Gipson of Monticello, one brother and three sisters, three grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon Saturday at Bishop Funeral Home.  Graveside services will follow at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery with

Bro. Phillip Payne officiating.  Arrangements are by Bishop Funeral Home of

Lake Village.
