Juanita Grantham Pylate, age 99, of Lake Village, died Monday, January 04, 2010, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village.  She was born February 8, 1911, in Jones County, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Roland Clayborn Grantham and Mary Candace Harrington Grantham and was a homemaker and member of the Presbyterian Church. 

She is survived by 2 sons, Don Pylate of Lake Village and Jimmy Roland Pylate of Corinth, Mississippi; a daughter, Betsy Pylate Simpson of Germantown, Tennessee; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2009, at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lauren Moore officiating.  Visitation will follow immediately after the chapel service.  Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
