Alexander Geoffrey Carlton, age 53, of Lake Village, died Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi.  He was born April 14, 1956 in Lake Village, the son of the late Aubrey Carlton and Evelyn Parker Carlton.  He was a Baptist and an Army Veteran where he received 2 Army Achievement Awards and Good Conduct Medals for overseas duty. 

He is survived by 5 brothers, Major Carlton and John Carlton, both of Lake Village, Aubrey Carlton of Chicago, Greg Carlton of Eudora and Larry Carolton of San Antonio, Texas; 3 sisters, Evelyn Kazee, Jo Anne Branch and Susan Dickson, all of Lake Village and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitaion is from 4 to 6 P.M. Friday at Bishop Funeral Home.  Funeral services are 1 PM Sunday, November 15, 2009, at New Hope MB Church with Rev. Ceasar Paul King officiating.  Burial will follow in Old Lakeport Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
