Sarah Jo Payne, age 34, of Vicksburg, Mississippi, formerly of Lake Village, died Thursday, August 13, 2009 in Vicksburg, Mississippi.  She was born January 7, 1975 in Lake Village, the daughter of L. D. Payne and JoAnn Lamb Payne.

She is preceded in death by her father, L. D. Payne and by a brother, Tommy Payne. She is survived by her companion of 12 years, David Sackett of Vicksburg, Mississippi; her mother, JoAnn Payne of Lake Village; a son, Matthew Zeno of Vicksburg, Mississippi; a daughter, Alisa Sackett of Vicksburg, Mississippi and 2 brothers, Phillip Payne of Lake Village, and John Mark Payne of Conway.

Visitation is 5 to 7 P.M. Monday at Bishop Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Payne officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
