David Wayne Graves, age 54, of Kilbourne, Louisiana, formerly of Portland, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009. He was born June 26, 1955, in Monticello, the son of the late Guice Graves and Betty Jean Holland Graves and was a butcher and a Baptist and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Billy Ed Graves, Gary “Pee Wee” Graves and John “Bo Bo” Graves.
Survivors are his fiancée, Debra Hunnicutt of Kilbourne, Louisiana; 2 sons, Michael Graves of Crossett and Jarrett Graves of Fountain Hill; 2 daughters, Carrie Michelle Graves of Crossett and Tarra Campbell and husband, Stephen, of Hamburg; 3 brothers, Raymond Kubiak of Crossett, Danny Mac Graves of Monticello and Johnny Graves of Montana; 3 sisters, Mary Tiner of Monticello, Patricia Hunter and Sherry Shouse, both of Benton and 4 grandchildren, Devon Isley Graves, Jasmine Raine Davis, Eli Campbell and Erin Graves.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, August 3, 2009, at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
