Jesse Kirkland Tumey, age 44, of Lake Village, died Monday, July 13, 2009, at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Hospital in Little Rock after a long, brave battle with acute myelogenous leukemia.  He was born August 20, 1964, in Malvern, Arkansas and was a First Mate Supervisor for Stokes Towing of Greenville, Mississippi and a Baptist.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Jessica Michelle Tumey of Lake Village and Alyssa Lea Tumey of St. Charles, Missouri; his parents, Roy David and Martha Lea Tumey of Lake Village; 4 brothers Jonathan Lee Tumey, Ronald David Tumey and wife Sandra, and Tommy Wayne Tumey, all of Lake Village, and Roy David Tumey, Jr. and wife Staci, of Crossett; 3 sisters, Carol Ann Blanchard and husband, Bill, of Little Rock, Linda Sue Brown and husband, Chaz, of Dillonvale, Ohio and Rosa Lea Hale of Crossett.

Memorial Services are 6:00 P.M. Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pete Emerson officiating.  Arrangements are by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
