The owner, Mark Bishop, is an honor graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and is a licensed embalmer and Funeral Director in Arkansas and Mississippi.

He has been the elected Chicot County Coroner since 2004. He is a board member and advisory councilman for Hospice Home Care Inc. He’s also a member of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
He and his wife, Marilyn, have two daughters, Angela and Monica. They also have three grandchildren, Brittany, Cole and Hunter. Monica is married to husband, Jamie.
Our funeral director, Bill Martar, has been with Bishop Funeral Home Inc. since its inception in 1993. He has been a licensed funeral director for 28 years. He is also a licensed pre-need counselor and is a Chicot County Deputy Coroner. Bill is married to Mary O’Fallen Martar. They have three daughters, Terry, Vickie and Frankie. They have five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
